Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa Both of these temples have great significance and both are well-preserved heritage sites enlisted on UNESCO. Kathmandu Durbar Square and Swayambhunath Temple Kathmandu Durbar Square is an ancient palace surrounded by different temples built as a pagodas style carved with ancient architecture. Swayambhunath temple was built in 13th century AD and is an important pilgrimage site to Buddhists. Also referred to as monkey temple, you can find many little stupas surrounding around Syawambhunath much alike Boudhanath Stupa. You also get to explore some monasteries and temples. Nagarkot Nagarkot is a popular hill station located at the eastern side of Kathmandu at an altitude of 2170 m easily accessible within one and a half-hour drive. The best about Nagarkot is phenomenal sunrise and sunset views on the snow-capped mountains of Mount Gaurishanker, Langtang ranges, Dorjee Lakpa and even a distant view of Mount Everest. Pashupatinath Temple is the world's oldest and most sacred Hindu temple, located on the banks of the Holy Bagmati River. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the world's largest and oldest stupas, and the surrounding area is also known as Little Tibet because it is densely populated by Tibetan refugees and home to one of the valley's largest Tibetan refugee camps. In the late afternoon, you can visit Swayambhunath Mahachaitya (known as Monkey Temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square, which are popular tourist destinations. Overnight stay in a hotel Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel in Kathmandu Day 3: Drive to Nagarkot via Bhaktapur Following breakfast, you will depart for an excursion to another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. From here, you will travel to Nagarkot (32 kilometers/1 hour) and stop in Bhaktapur Durbar Square, which was founded in 889 AD and is located 13 kilometers east of Kathmandu. The famous "Fifty-five Windows Palace" can be found in Bhaktapur's old palace square. It was the royal palace of the Malla kings at the time. The golden gate in this square is a one-of-a-kind master piece of Newari art. This ancient square is like a living museum of Hindu temples. The ancient royal bath, the courtyard of Taleju shrine, the museum of art and history, the pottery square, the majestic Nyatapola temple, the famous Peacock window, and the Dattatraya temple are also worth seeing. When you arrive in Nagarkot, you can watch the sunset over the eastern Himalayan ranges. Overnight stay in a hotel. Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Accommodation: 3-Star Hotel in Nagarkot Day 4: Drive Back to Kathmandu airport for next destination. Following early sunrise view of snow-capped mountains, and breakfast afterwards , our representative will transport you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight to your next destination.
